XYZ Aerospace – Forged in Vision, Built to Endure

XYZ Aerospace – Forged in Vision, Built to Endure

The Origin

Fourteen years ago, I met Brian—a machinist, entrepreneur, and one of the most visionary minds I’ve ever known. From the beginning, we dreamed of building something together. That dream became reality when, in 2019, Brian officially launched XYZ Aerospace, a company that today manufactures high-precision components for Department of Defense projects and even the Mars Rover.

Back then, XYZ wasn’t yet a formal company. There was no branding, no legal paperwork, no pitch deck—just an idea. I sat down with Brian and his cofounder and recorded a deep, open-ended interview about their vision, their purpose, and how they wanted to show up in the world. That interview became the blueprint for everything that followed.

Brand Genesis

Using their recorded conversation, I drafted all the copy for their website—mission, vision, branding tone, messaging hierarchy. They chose to start with a WordPress implementation for cost reasons, hosted on GoDaddy. But after six months of slow load times, broken plugin conflicts, and support calls that led nowhere, they returned to me with a simple request:

“Just make it work. Forever.”

I rebuilt the entire site in native JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS—clean, fast, and minimal. No CMS. No bloat. Just pure code that reflects the precision of XYZ’s work. That was four years ago. The site has required zero maintenance, runs like a tuned engine, and continues to receive compliments from aerospace professionals and investors alike.

Mission Control Features

To support business development, I integrated the site with HubSpot, enabling lead generation through forms and scheduling features. The system was used to support a promotional push during a major aerospace conference, generating hundreds of high-quality leads and face-to-face meetings with industry leaders.

XYZ’s web presence wasn’t an afterthought—it was part of their launch strategy. Brian understood that branding is part of engineering. The result? A site that’s as solid as the metal parts they send into orbit.

What’s Next

Brian still calls to ask, “What’s next?” And the answer is clear: Astro.
XYZ deserves a site that evolves with modern architecture, complete with a blog to showcase R&D, case studies, and thought leadership in defense and aerospace manufacturing.

Whether or not he takes the “Once in a Lifetime” upgrade deal, the move to Astro is more than an update—it’s a natural progression in a story that began with a dream and a microphone.
